About Meredith

Meredith has been a life long artist; studying in many mediums. She currently works with mixed media (acrylic, collage, print-making and photography) and digital art. Through the exploration of texture and layers, Meredith melds multiple mediums to create abstract and representational work. The layers can begin with handmade papers, ephemera, her own street photography, found collage material and paint. Meredith intuitively places the different media and compositions emerge as either abstractions or landscapes. She explores all the possibilities that color, texture, photos and collage can create. Recurrent theme will evolve through out her art; bold lines and numbers to name a few.

Meredith studied oil painting, drawing and fiber arts at Skidmore College. She has recently studied painting with Jane Davies, Bernd Haussman, Kathryn Field, Nicholas Wilton, Ellen Rolli, Jari Poulin and Wen Redmond.

Her work has been shown throughout the Boston area; including but not limited to: Kayak, Red Hat, Boston Consulting Group, Log Me In, WBUR, 30 Penn Condominiums, 63 Melcher St. Condominiums, Genesis. Her collage work has been featured in Contemporary Collage Magazine, and her paintings have been seen on HGTV Farm House Fixer, season 1 & 2.
